We had two fundraising stalls in July 2010, the first at the Mile Cross Community Festival and the second at St. Benedict's Street Fair.
The Mile Cross Community Festival and Classic Car Show was held on a hot and sunny Saturday in July in Sloughbottom Park in Norwich. We sold bric-a-brac and home-grown plants, met many members of the public and found new supporters for our garden. We made a profit of £80. Thanks to David Smith for agreeing to sponsor one of our fruit trees.

We were fortunate to have another hot and sunny day for the St. Benedict's Street Fair. The fair brought a real buzz and carnival atmosphere to the Norwich Lanes. We sold strawberries and cream, homemade jams, basil and chilli plants and allotment produce and held a competition to find objects "buried" in the garden. We had a great response from the public. We sold out of strawberries by mid afternoon and had to get some more. We made a profit of £112.18. Thanks to Caroline and Peter Brimblecombe for sponsoring one of our fruit trees.
