The garden is a looking lovely after all the rain. Early June highlights include the giant grass Stipa gigantea, Sweet Rocket, several species of hardy Geranium, Salvia 'Mainacht' and, by the garden entrance, Californian poppies.

It was cold and overcast on both our May tasks. Sycamore seedlings are appearing in many parts of the garden and we've been weeding them out, including from the brickweave paving.

After a warm, dry and sunny March we were treated to April showers and cooler weather, but we still managed to do some work in the garden, which has really benefitted from the rain.

We had a lovely sunny day for our 'Look Forward To Spring' event. Lots of people visited the garden and enjoyed lovely homemade soup and cakes and warming cups of tea.
We built nestboxes, had a seed swap and there were opportunities to learn about the garden, the RSPB, Norfolk Master Gardeners and Norfolk Master Composters.
And we also raised £59.21 for the garden. Thanks to everyone who came along, and to everyone who helped run the event.

We put up four of the nestboxes on the following Sunday, 26th February. (See photos on Facebook.)
